Spring Clean postponed

Given light snow today, heavier snow tomorrow and no thaw in prospect it is going to be quite hard to find litter this weekend! It could also be unsafe to venture forth.

Several groups have already been in touch with us cancelling or postponing their planned activities.  We suggest that groups should postpone. Please let us know if you have not already done so and when you are postponing to.  I appreciate that you, like us, may have availability problems having set aside this weekend for these activities.

If you are postponing please discuss with your depot revised equipment pick up plans and let me have the revised date and time so that I can advise the City Council.

This  is our first snow event in 11 years. Thank you very much for your support for Spring Clean and your understanding.
